Leaves pile up at your doorstep; the wind rustles through branches of the forest trees as rain raps against your window in sheets. Cozy in your den, a summons arrives from the King for you, the Fox! It is that time in of the year again: the Fox Hunt. An annual journey through the lands of a fruiting kingdom begins, where creatures, both friend and foe, find you once again in their familiar patterns. This storied cycle begins another revolution. On its tired axel, the wheel turns anew.

Onion Future is an Aesop's Fables inspired RPG in development for the Playdate, a modern handheld console developed by Panic. The player follows the Fox along his journey to the Capital, where he encounters a variety of individuals, predator and prey, from the inquisitive Frog to the brash Catfish, as he makes his way towards the capital.

I'm developing the world's core gameplay systems in Lua for the Playdate SDK, from player-facing UI to backend optimization and everything else between. It's a real treat to get the opportunity to build classic RPG systems from scratch: combat, inventory, dialogue, overworld navigation, shops, game menus, save data, game state, and so much more.

EyeSpy is a twist on the classic game of Pictionary, where one player bound to a chair must use their eyes to draw clues for their team back at HQ in order to guess the secret codes that disable a nuclear missile.

This project uses the Tobii Eye Tracker to allow the drawing player to control a 'laser' hidden in their 'hi-tech spy glasses' using their eye movements. It was designed to be setup so that the 'guesser' view is projected on a large screen with a central keyboard for inputting guesses so that a crowd of players could contribute to guessing, while the 'drawer' view is hidden away in an isolated booth, in which the drawer is tied to a chair and must draw with their gaze and a clicker in their hand.

The use of eye-tracking to draw added quite a delightful twist to the Pictionary formula. Tiny eye movements are difficult to control, and small lapses in attention could cause the pointer to draw streaks across the screen. It ended up being quite comedic. I found myself to be particulary bad at playing our own game!

Enter an eerie orphanage, where your task is simple but crucial: make the beds for the children. On Halloween night, a terrifying secret surfaces: monsters rise if the beds aren't perfectly made! Place sheets and fluff pillows in a race against time to protect the orphanage.

This game was designed for a custom interface built with the Xbox Adaptive Controller to simulate the bed-making experience.

Double double, toil and trouble; fire burn, and cauldron bubble. Something simmers upon the stovetop. Watch your back, lest you be overcooked!

Dodge and shoot soupy enemies with bubbles in this Vampire-Survivors-like game constructed out of a collage of hand-drawn pasta, stock photo vegetables, images of the team, and recorded mouth noises.

Broth's Soup was developed in 48 hours for the 2025 Pittsburgh Global Game Jam, where it received the award for "Artistic Excellence".

Deer Stranger is a VR escape room where the player is trapped by a snowstorm in a cabin in the forest while something stalks in the forest just outside.

This experience was designed for the ETC's 'Building Virtual Worlds', with the challenge of creating a VR experience that could be completed by a naïve player.
